Hmmmm, Spend days (in some of your cases it may be hours) but for most people days, grinding something that a lot of people do not find fun to earn isk to play the game. Or spend 1 hour working in RL and pay for your account + 500m for the month to have fun with. :3 I would like to introduce you to opportunity cost people! If you take 5 hours to earn 500m you are not "playing EVE for free"

If you absolutely love what you do to make the ISK that is different. But if that was the case I doubt you would be complaining about prices.
