Your tank will proooobably be ok, depending on skills. However, with T1 drones it will take so long you will want to kill yourself. Also, some sites (not sure about these ones in particular -- I don't have much lowsec experience) have overseer rats/structures that can have decent tanks. You should check the evelopedia page for the site in question to make sure you have enough DPS to kill them.


If you have OK skills your tank in a 5/10 will be fine. If you are good at piloting and you have good skills you can make your tank work ok in a 6/10... HOWEVER, even with T2 heavy drones, the tank on the boss in the 6/10s will hold out for long enough that you will have considered killing yourself to end the madness long ago..

As an example. I have run 1 Sansha 6/10 in lowsec in a Gila with 'perfect' skills (for the damage anyway) and it was pretty easy to mitagate the damage and allow the drones and lol-missiles to do their work, but it ended up taking an hour and a half, and all I got was this stinking phantasm BPC.. Ran a 4/10 in highsec immediatly after in about 10 mins almost compleatly AFK, and I got a stinking phantasm BPC.....

I'm looking for a better ship to run lowsec plexes with, but I suspect im not going to find one that will run the plexes quickly and also wont get BBQd on a gate..

Already sold. Phantasm is the worst faction cruiser, if I was running someone elses plexs it would have already been built and sold (or built and lost in pvp).
