This is the spreadsheet layout that I use to see how much my character might make in a month. Cuz I'm a nice guy I wanted to share this Blink

Features:
- self updating prices of PI materials and Minerals (from EVE Marketeer)
- nice and clean layout
- a basic mining calculator
- a full list of item IDs

Link: Google docs

I deleted all the input numbers to protect my super secret production secrets [SSPS] To add your own market item use this:

=ImportXML(ʺhttp://www.evemarketeer.com/api/info/2393_2396/xml/10000002ʺ;ʺ//sell_lowest5ʺ)

2393 and 2396 are the IDs for items you want to check the price. To learn more about "ImportXML" go to http://www.w3schools.com/xpath/. To learn more about what info you can get from EVE Marketeer go to http://www.evemarketeer.com/api.

Looks nice, though I think (like most spredasheet publishers) you really need to document your work a little at least.

It's easy to assume everyone understands what you mean because you wrote the thing, though moslty other people spreadsheets can be confusing unless you know what is what exactly, what you need to enter where and why, what factors are used in each calculation (ie does that include tax or not).

A small 'manual' would greatly improve the accssability of your sheet IMO, and that little bit of extra effort might allow it to be as valuable a tool as it has been to you to someone else.

just 0.02 isk anyhow
