Hi. First, not sure if all of this has already being coverer. if so then move along.
Second, bare my bad english.

Ok.

I know this is a game about spaceships and I love it. New GFX eye candy could make holes to your eyes, my eyes would have needed some patching by now.

But.....

I would like to change the tactical view abit like this:

When you hit tactical button, game loads new screen, similar to local map screen but with black background.
You would see all ships as colored triangles, fleet purple, corp green, blues blue, red red and so on.
Targets would have small X on them plus possible tag or target marker FC has issued.
Those targetting you would be blinking.
Roids would be roids, GFX should be minimal, like old Astedoids game, vector lines only.
Also you could see who's shooting who, straight line from triangle to triangle between combantants.

I am a miner and engange combat rarely. ( I can do pewpew ;)
But my alt is pure combat pilot with skills to fly every ships from frigate to battleships with t2 modules from every faction.
He also can fly many t2 ships and t3 ships. I like the eyecandy GFX but sometimes there are situations where you would need better tactical view on things.

I was planning to draw some consepts about this, maybe I will.

Thats not a bad idea. Especially for large fleet fights. A Way to automatically turn off al graphics and replace it with a radar-like overview that has the full functionality of the gaming interface. Wouldn't provide any real advantage other than enabling for quicker fights if large numbers are present.
