Hey, I made a little half-video for you all:

INTERLUDE

Size: 405mb
Length: 12:09
Ships flown: Myrmidon, Drake, Brutix, Talos

First I want to say this is not at all epic stuff, it just consists of the decent fights I got in the last month or so of infrequent playing. Basically school will start eating into my play time again soon, so I want to just release what I have for now. I do plan a bigger cooler video but it'll have to wait Big smile

What you'll find inside is some down-home solo stuff, no flashy ships or implants, and all single account. I think it'll be a nice accompaniment to my and Kil2's podcast, if you're into that.

Edit: Nice vid, really enjoyed it and makes me feel like hurrying up my carebearing and getting back out on the battlefield asap.

I especially liked the brutix vs broadsword, drake, harb fight. I could see you toying with the idea of going back in to kill the harb, but probably the right call in the end to leave with no cap boosters left.

Great stuff. I laughed out loud at the offlined extenders, that's why I always have my passive modules displayed (but bunched up bottom left). I guess you did a bit too much burning away from things without thinking about the extenders, easily done :P

ahaha yeah I know to do that now. Big smile It was funny, it wasn't until I docked up later and tracked back in the fraps that I realized what had happened, I just thought they were doing tons of damage. Although also it made my sig quite a bit smaller, so the bombers probably weren't doing full damage... dunno if it would have turned out the same or not.

Interesting. I thought during that last fight that the offlined mods made what would have been an easy fight into an interesting fight... I didn't think about the sig radius / bombers. That's even more intriguing Shocked

U can offline ur extenders after your shields are gone and then take less damage in armor!

Someone fraps themselves offlining nanofibres in low armour for that extra hull... with a DC2 of course.

I enjoyed the entire thing, which is pretty rare!

A more visually pleasing way to find out if your LSE(s) have burnt out is to have your HUD display absolute values, as well as %. After flying a ship for a few fights, you get a general feel for how much shields you should have (e.g. my Drake has ~17.5k raw shields) and if it's much less, you've got a burnt out module.
