I assure you, none of the people raging over this would ever have voted for Darius. It's stunts like this that got him votes in the first place. Also, he has a sexy voice.

I also don't know where goons figure into this.

Apparently not, it's not harming the economy (according to Dr. E / CCP - and the CSM didn't raise any red flags) - so apparently it's not harming anything at all.

That meeting is 2 month old, not everybody knew at that time how much money you could make running incursion. At that time, people didn't know or believe one could make 100mil isk/h in incursion.

Depending on competition I'd say more then 100mil per hour. Some of those fleets are pulling roughly a billion per person a day. And since they're farming them, that's several days.

Um what? CCP own data not enough fer ya? CSM looking at said data aint enough for ya? Nope instead everyone that hates incursion runners needs to generalize and pull numbers from their rear end.

Incursion income is fine. It is the advantage of blitzing vanguards that needs to be fixed to help nonshiny fleets.

I didn't say anything about the data themselves except that the meeting and data are 2 months old. The data might even be older. Since then more people might have learn about the income they generate and more might have moved their PvE activities to HS.

Also, what it won't show is that most new players trained up to run incursion instead of moving to NS or w-space.

Sooner or later, ADHC will notice a drop of activities in wspace if nothing is done.

Yeah, CCP can make a phuu-qup, so what?

One mistake does not invalidate every other activity... Nobody is perfect, and no-one (that I know of) makes 100% mistakes... So I'm betting CCP is hitting somewhere in the middle (or above). Yeah, CCP makes mistakes - they also get things right.

/me looks at calendar...
/me looks at above post...

CSM meeting was Dec 9-13. So that means the data is no newer than Dec 9. Probably Nov 30th... So December has 30 days... It's now January 24th.... So not quite 60 days m8! Big smile

HOWEVER, if you read down (1 paragraph further?) - CCP is pulling economic metrics *monthly* - So I bet they have *even newer* numbers...

Also - those "two month old numbers" don't take into account (or reflect) the current level of Hi-Sec interdictions...

*Most new players"? Please, share with us your data, as I'm sure we'd all love to see it! Besides, I'm pretty sure armor/shield skills trained up for incursions translate across to PvP pretty easily... We don't know where those new players will settle, but I'll bet WH's pull their fair share. The very nature of WH space means there will be times when activity is down - just because you can't be sure where your connection is going to be. It also means that there will be *extremely busy* times...

But *I'm* betting that WH's continue to increase in popularity - because of their unclaimed nature and specific mechanics.

Besides, we have good scouts... Lol

They've been known to create their own activity...Pirate
