RED and concorded ?!

Anyone had the same problem I had before at the trade hubs. You lock up a RED, you fire, you get concorded. There is no question the ship was RED when it was locked and fired upon. We were in an escalated empire space war, so its not a sec status thing. We seen it twice in one week now, so I was just wondering if more players have seen this before. Think it has to do with lag issues....

And no, you don't get my tears P I collected them and sold them in Jita after the lag was over.

Iv see it a few times with a pilots with crimes twas your corp. The 15 min timer runs out, but the Red flashy still show on the overview (Not in space though)

You will still get the CONCORD warning though if not turned off.

Are you sure they were a valid target, they could have just been set to red by your corp which doesn't mean that you can shoot them in high sec. Usually valid targets are flashy red by default.

not true. the only time ppl are flashy red is if u are at war or u set it ur self to show them as flashy red ( u can do this with any color btw )

No this one had a red bar, cuz we were having an escalated shootie next to the tradehub. I seen a lot of weird stuf cuz of lag near trade hubs, but when you are not sure if things will keep working ok, its just fcking annoying. Why risk a 1B ship ? The petition I made was denied.....they couldn't find the problem.....DUH ! So you end up with nothing cuz of lags and no way to proof you were right. Great policy to make money I would say...Evil

Can't say I've ever heard of this or seen it in action.

You sometimes have a delay in someone going red flashy when you expect them to.

Had someone canflip me and I was just waiting with everything queued ready to scram/warp/melt face. And I waited, and waited, and waited some more....then the canflipper warped off without going red flashy!

Turned red flashy a good minute later but had docked and didn't come out again until aggro was gone.

So if you were expecting it but they didn't turn red flashy and you started shooting, you will get concorded ever time I am afraid.

Red bar just means they have negative standing to you, no? Make sure you have your Concord warning on in highsec and never ignore it and you'll be fine.

There seems to be little delay when enemy turns to red and when you can shoot it in highsec.

If you get concord warning you should not shoot. Press cancel and try again, then if you get warning again do not shoot, but if no warning you are free to engage.
