Attribute Balancing

Hello!

This seemed like the best forum of the bunch for this question.

I have a neural remap available to me. Current attributes are as follows:

Int: 20
Per: 30
Cha: 20
Wil: 24
Mem: 20

I'm going to balance my attributes and read somewhere that if you're not happy with your gunnery/ship or support skills you should bias Int/Perc. Is this a heavy bias or just a slight bias if one is available? Basically I'd like to know which of the following attribute maps would be better from an average SP per hour perspective until my next remap. Assume no charisma skills will be trained!

A)

Int: 27
Per: 27
Cha: 20
Wil: 20
Mem: 20

B)

Int: 25
Per: 25
Cha: 20
Wil: 22
Mem: 22

C)

Int: 24
Per: 24
Cha: 20
Wil: 23
Mem: 23

I'd be grateful if some of the EVE Gurus could lend their wisdom!

perc and int are the most common primary attributes ...

If you are going balanced for support as primary training max int, rest perc ... if you are going for ship, guns and missiles mainly, max perc and rest int.

Otherwise make an evemon schedule and have that figure out your attribs.

I like to recommend 23i 21p 21m 17w 17c for a generic mapping if you don't know what you'll be training.

int > mem: Electronics, Engineering, Mechanic, Planet Management, Science
int > per: Navigation
int > cha:
int > wil:

per > wil: Gunnery, Missiles, Spaceship Command
per > int:
per > mem:
per > cha:

mem > int: Industry
mem > per: Drones
mem > cha: Corporation Management
mem > wil:

wil > per: T2 ships
wil > cha: Trade
wil > int:
wil > mem:

cha > wil: Leadership
cha > int: Planet Management
cha > mem: Trade
cha > per:

Thanks for the help Ravenal and Tau; much appreciated. I've remaped accordingly Smile

I recommend dumping CHA as far down as it can go, and evening out the four useful attributes. That's hardly efficient, but it is 100% free of stressy angst and leaves you free to train your training schedule on a whim.

There's 2 points left over after INT, WIL, PER and MEM are evened out. I honestly don't know where to place those. I've tended towards INT and PER, but am not sure if that's the best. Then gain the whole point of my approach to this is to go for maximum flexbility instead of worrying about what's optimal.

I went with plan C for that very reason in the end. 24, 24, 20, 23, 23 with +3 set. Once i've trained Cyber 4 I'll shove some +4s in but that's something I doubt I'll do for the time being. Only a small gain from a 2 day or so skill and I think the time would best be put towards getting a few of the rank 1 & 2 skills a little higher at the moment.
