Im new to incursions. Can someone please explain how they work?

Their is a Filter that will show you which constellations are occupied by the Nation in the Star Map.

When you get their the Sites will appear like beacons in Open Space.

will the beacons show up in your overview or do you have to scan for them?

Public Beacons you can warp to them without Scanning.

Your main problem with incursions will not be the sansha but the other players that are farming the same incursion sites as well, so it will turn out into a race of who can kill them faster.
Not sure if this was intended by CCP, but the result is that FCs are very picky about who they let into their fleets, because letting a weaker ship or player in may put them into a disadvantge against the other competing fleets.

and if I didn't insult anyone in this thread yet, it is just because you guys are already doing fine yelling at each other.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

Its a LOT easier to look in the incursions tab in the journal for all the info on area, staging system etc.
