I am, respectively was an sanctum whore ..
But i went back to empire before the whole **** happened.
As far as i know NC bff lost because plenty of people like me droped off .. and they sold their SC to enemy. Big smile

And i heard that Goonswarm federation tried to safe them but after they invested their time and assets to come .. there were just "few" people formed up for NC itself.. so they gave up afterwards..
If the SC nerf came earlier than the NC will probably stayed at their place. Who knows.

Yet you still have to ask yourself can nullsec support massive player population ?
Lets be honest its about three peeps per system who can have some kind of "income"
And then there are plexes/etc probable deadspace .. which can provide massive income for an couple of accounts..
Sure it is enough, you wont get rich, but it will keep you afloat / without alliance paying for your fleet efforts* as i never asked for them but i know they existed xD

Increasing payout for anomalies was not a right direction it was actually meaningless.. / well for me as an sanctum whore..

But some alliances are actually sufficient and provides assets to their pilots from the alliance income / moons etc.

PS. I am un-aware of current sitution in null .. as i dont log into game that much. It is still too early to call some parts/coalition winners of null.

I can agree with you, or dissagree but it will not change how the game works..
Game supports masses .. therefore masses will be created and those masses will rule because they have numbers.
Stupid human behavior. If everyone plays with some kind of "moral codex" and responsibly to others .. than it would work and we will not need any "changes". But as it comes if there are means to get superiority and become invincible people will try to accomplish it.
And then someone comes and break it by their own "strategy". Depend what happens afterwards. People comes and goes.. Overlords stays.. Its an mindset..

Totally agree with "the human condition" hypothesis.

But my OP asks why an out-of-game construct has been manipulated (a fact rather arrogantly put on record) to arrive at an in-game solution.
