Industrial Platform Property

Been a long while since I've posted something in here (since the old forums, in fact). Something I realized today... it is ridiculous that you can't repackage items in space... but I understand there has to be SOME reason to dock. What I'm thinking, is that certain ships cargo holds should gain the capability to repackage. I'll call these 'industrial platforms'... ships that have enough capacity to be able to perform operations like this. I'm thinking Industrials, Transports, Mining Barges, Exhumers, Orca's and Rorquals. This could be implemented as a property on the ship, that when true, allows the repackaging of items in the cargo hold.

I know, this seems like a pretty limited capability, but I'm thinking this property should be implemented first, and then later, other capabilities can be added (like the ability to fit mobile industrial facilities - mobile ammo factory lines, etc). I've written about this in the past, and I still feel it is an area of eve that is poorly missing. Think of a high slot module that adds one or more factory lines, while removing an absolute amount of cargo capacity (this way you can't fit larger production lines on a ship that is too small to realistically handle it).

Production lines would pause when the ship is not in space - which ultimately means more carebear targets floating about.

thoughts?
