Hi,
May i interest you in a great game.
It's called:

Nexus: The Jupiter Incident

It is is a large space-battle tactical simulation.

There is simply no better game in this genre, space-tactical, with this immersive
experience, graphics, the cinematography like experience, the total feel of this game and much much more.
Also buy watching the tech promotional vid (the original one) it is quite hard to resist
the urge to get into the N 2 Universe.

They want to develop a second part but need support:

This is what it could look like:

I've made a start with a Nexus-Eve mod:

We can play both EVE and Nexus. They are complementary.

Thank you.

Oh man, NtJI was an amazing game. So many hours spent in that game, even after the expansive single player. I remember taking ages agonizing over scenarios I made in the generator. I knew there was a modding community - didn't realise it was particularly productive though. That EvE Mod looks tremendous. Any idea when or if you'll be modifying the weapons to look more like eve weapons? Or have the drone ships use only fighters/bombers etc? I've not idea if such a thing is even possible, though. You may be struggling against engine limitations or something.

Damn now I'm going to install Nexus again.

Darius III for CSM! Or your money back!

Glad jou liked the little mod vid.
The modding community is very small but pretty good. I am just a newbie compared to those guy's.
It most certainly is possible to modify weapons, sound fx etc.
It only takes a lot of time of course. For now i am just trying and experimenting.
There are indeed limitations with the engine. So for e.g. it isn't possible to put in huge stuctures or very high poly models.

You could check this site out for more information.

EVE is one of the most beautifull space games ever in relation to the models, textures and overall graphics. Better then most sf-movies.
CCP is realy great for letting the modding community use their models. Hats off.
