Windowed Mode Crashes.

Computer specs.
OS vista 64 bit
Processor intel Quad core Q9450
Graphics card Dual Nvidea Geforce 560 SSC (2048mb each)
8 gigs of DDR2 RAM.

The game runs fine in Full screen however when i go into windowed mode, which i use a lot when mining, the game has a tendancy to crash my computer and force restart.

I used to run the game in windowed mode about a year ago when i was playing with Vista 32, dual 800GTS and only 4 gigs of ram. But now after 30-40 minutes all of space will flash white then my entire system will crash.

Is this a new bug or known issue? I can't seem to find anything recent like this happening. Any solutions? Would Really like to get windowed mode working again.

Since last patch, I get a broken splash screen.

All the screen foreground is missing, including logon and settings, only background and engine trails of the animation.

Check your drivers, and update them if required. Also, make sure that your current card isn't simply wearing out from age -- sometimes, an aged on-card GPU will have a 'stroke' and stop working properly.

If all else fails, make sure Windows itself isn't the culprit; occasionally, it does futz up and cause problems.

My drivers are up to date. My video cards are new and run other games like Skyrim and BF3 on max settings with great FPS for hours on end with no problems.

If windows is causing this how can i tell? Also the game crashed in full screen mode the same way yesterday so its not just windowed that causes the problem anymore.
