Hello

Somewhat of a noob question I guess but I cannot make up my mind so here goes.

Which would you say would be more suited for Level 4 missions? A Strategic Cruiser, or an Apocalypse with T2 weapons?

Thanks

alot depends on your skills, and also depends on what strategic cruiser you are talking about, a Proteus.. no tengu yes, legion, yes, and i dunno about a loki dont look into them much.

Well it would probably be the Legion out of the four, looking at all the subsystems though, makes me think it would probably confuse me lol

thing about strategic cruisers is you wanna fit them out right, and they will be awesome ships, go cheap and you can loose alot of money and skill points. you loose one of these you loose hours-day worth of training, heard its not that bad but who wants to retrain skills.. this is a pretty expensive ship but its what you would want to fly.

Go with the Apoc. It's relatively more "forgiving" SP and tactics-wise for "green" players. It also costs [much] less and can be fully insured... so you will cry/rage/emo less when you lose it.

Yeah the legion posted earlier will set you back about 2 billion isk. If you have that kind of isk to drop, you may as well go run some incursions and make the isk back quicker.

Apoc is cheaper, safer and easier to use but it's whatever is more suited to YOU.

The Tengu easily does L4's, Loki less so... My Legion had problems with L4s, and I wouldn't bother with a Proteus.

Proteus works fine against any KIN/THERM enemies and is arguably a better choice than the Loki or Legion against those NPC's.

WIth the Null buff I expect a properly fit Proteus to have more DPS than a Loki at almost all ranges. Not worth it against Angels for the amount of tank you need to cover the explosive hole and It is touch and go against EM/THERM enemies like Sansha/Bloods.

Tengu is ulitmate jack of all trades but can suffer (a bit) against enemies not weak to Kinetic.

Battleship is probably a better starting ship.

So it really depends on who you intend to fight?
