I can't find another thread on this issue, my apologies if there is one.

I know of several players having this problem, and there was a popup on the login screen a few days ago stating something about having problems with a major internet provider. At the time I wasn't having any problems so I didn't take an awful lot of notice, but it's now got to the point where the game is unplayable. I can only stay in game for two minutes max, which is pointless, I've given up trying.

I would like to know if CCP have anything to say on this subject, whether they have any further information and how widespread this problem is/has become.

Again, my apologies if this has been brought up elsewhere, please link me to it.

I am having the same issue. I would log in and after a few minuets that's it.

Last night i noticed my ship spinning feature wouldn't actually let me spin the ship, it was just still on screen. Everything else worked.

I also noticed that my team speak would cut out with 2 clients open, never had this problem before (if anyone knows a fix for this, please help as it has been slowly happening over past weeks) I am fully aware this is not a place to discuss team speak, so a link would be nice, if possible :)

Does anyone other than myself and May Ke have this few minuet then d/c issue?

Same thing here. Pingplotter shows packet loss of 100% every 5-6 minutes coming from the last hop.
It was getting worse, it was once a day, it's now once every 6 minutes.
+1 on the problem.
I've filed a bug report and filed a petition, Sent all the information i had regarding the problem.
Let's hope it gets solved.

Same thing here...lots of disconnections, it almost looks like I am being kicked out to make someone else kicked in. Aren't we all equal? Lol this is getting to a level where I could compare it to Age of Empires Online problems. I hope most of you do not know what I am talking about, because that was really bad.

Problem was solved, and now continues.
Several other posts regarding this already exist and were not answered by anyone official.
Any answers?
getting DC every 3 minutes is not fun.
Waiting for a reply.

After I posted this, and sent CCP my petition, the problem seemed to resolve magically. I heard no word from CCP on what may have been causing this problem, nor how it may have been fixed.

Why will CCP not answer us??

As far as I know this might not be problem of CCP but one of their providers. As such it might be hard to nail down hence taking a long time to resolve.

I am actually having this problem now. It started 24h ago, went away for a short time, and is now back with a vengeance. I am having intermittent difficulty connecting to the website, forums, and image server as well.

Edit: I have Comcast top-tier cable in Washington state, near Microsoft. Never had a problem like this to date.

I too am having this issue. A couple minutes in game then the game crashes out to the desktop and restarts itself.

I noticed that I can't get my drones of out the drone day leading up to the crashes. I also noticed that my armor repair stops working and I can't save fitting in the hanger.

At one point any web request that contained the term "eveonline" in plaintext (not https) was blocked instantly. So like, http://twitter.com/eveonline would just go dead, but https://twitter.com/eveonline would work fine. Even non-HTTPS google searches were giving an instant failure to connect for stretches of time.

Which is creeping me out.

These are just symptoms of the network connection to the servers entering zombie-mode: The connection has long been severed, but the client doesn't know about it yet and will keep asking and waiting for responses. As soon as **** stops responding entirely, you're pretty much toast.

Edit: I seem to be getting those at the same time of night, around 0630 GMT or so...

There are periodic threads on this issue... There's never any sort of official comment or resolution. I assume the problem resolves itself or the players just leave the game.

I was plagued with disconnection issues for many months. About a month ago, I picked up a new PC and the problems went away. In the last few days, the problem has returned. If I'm inactive in the game, my connection seems to time out and the client crashes to desktop and then reboots. I can run a constant ping to eveonline.com with no packet loss.

I've heard there are advanced logging tools to help diagnose EVE connection issues, is anyone aware of how to find/use them?

Same issue here. I think it might have been that I changed what my character avatar was this morning (you can see it on the left but it hasnt updated in game at all). I keep dcing with the game getting unresponsive and then my client crashes. Was fine all last night and on wednesday. Even had issues logging into the forums here and posting, and it cuts my connection to other sites but not when im not connected to eve or this site.

Same here (I created a new post).

The strange thing is that I have 2 PCs on my home network, both directly connected to the same router and I have this issue on only 1 of them.
This means it cannot be my ISP or the route to the EVE servers.
Firewall has been disabled on both machines (so another possible cause to rule out).

I really do not understand what's going on.

Ah, joy and fun, it's getting worse. It'd be really lovely if a CCP employee would deign to grace this thread with their presence, maybe offer some suggestions or troubleshooting tools.
