A few questions about incursions

i want to get into incursions, as both logi and dps (basilisk and sleipnir) , highsec vanguards, i dont want to go into them without knowing enoguh, i dont want my or anyone elses ships to be destroyed because of my stupidity.

one of the tings i want to know, is when someone is taking damage, what is the usual way that they inform their logis that they need repairing? what signal/message should be on the lookout for? i don't want to wait for their shield to go down before i put rep on them.

i've read some of the guides, but theres only so much i can learn without actaully going in.

There are no more highsec incursions. Sorry buddy you (and I) were late for that feast. Just join a corp in sov holding 00 alliance and grind anoms.
