So CCP, when are we actually going to have a working watch list?

When can I scan through the list of my added friends or war targets or whatever and find the characters reported to be online actually to be online?

I used to do highsec PVP and we would track our targets through the watchlist like most good Highsec Merc Corps do.
Trouble is, someone going offline doesn't always reflect that they are offline in the watch list.

You therefore waste a locator on an offline character.
Only relogging seems to fix the problem to refresh the watchlist.

Fixable? Surely ccp. Possibly not on the list of top things to get some love but would really appreciate if you fix this.

TY.

Relog if it is important to you.

Not even once

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

Well that's the workaround. although not ideal.
When you have a massive contact list of targets, that could require multiple logon/logoffs over a short space of time.

Please try and be a bit more constructive with your posts.

Just guessing:

Looks like a technical issue. Maybe there is a difference if the pilot quits the game or has a disco.

Some chars may be on the watch list of several hundred people (i.e super cap pilots).
Perhaps there is a technical limit how many people can get their places&people updated.

As a workaround they could add a "update" button to watch list, that simply updates the online status, if they can't fix it otherwise.
(With a 2 min timer or something like that).

Yup, a refresh button or something similar would be an adequate fix.
