That's a nice idea. What I was getting at is targeting non pos modules and not the tower itself for repairs. It's just annoying to repair drones and ships outside the force field. Have a repair station which has to be fed with shiny gems or whatever would be a good direction without changing the current targeting mechanics.

Odyssey: Repacking in POS hangars for modules +1,  but please for other stuff too, especially containers. Make containers openable in POS hangars.

that sounds better, although it could allow a solo POS repper to duck in and out of the FF while taking fire and essentially get the same benefits in terms of shield repairs as someone playing station games
I would advocate the timer be more on the order of minutes then seconds


A POS fight is essentially siege warfare, and having the ability to rebuild your castle or resupply your troops during the siege is a bit tricky

and yes, I made an error with distances for gate ack, still doesn't change the outcome

  1. When scanning with probes, everything on the map gets in the way of the probes you are trying to move/resize. Please make probes take priority when clicking.
  2. Corp bookmarks are awesomesauce. They would be even better if there was a way for corpies to force an update rather than wait 5 mins. A simple refresh button would be fine (and could replace the periodic update thus reducing server calls and fighting lag...maybe).
  3. Entering a ship with a shield extender from a POS array results in the ship having some shield missing. Armour however is fine. Same goes for entering a fleet with gang boost.
  4. Cannot assemble T3 in a POS/wh.

1. Jumping into a system and half my fleet is neut because their "Corp/Alliance" failed to load on jump in. "That member is not part of your fleet" when trying to bridge through a titan and the only way to fix it is to re-log. Basically, all bugs related to jumping. There's too much going on and it's killing the game.


2. Edit boxes not wrapping tags properly in the "background. So if I hit underline on 1 word, it ends up underlining my entire blurb even though I had one word selected.


3. The EVE-Mail system not having a way to SAVE mails, not just label, but save. Lables are dumb when we want clean out our inbox and lose everything. Furthermore, no search feature? What the hell is this "blue" text being used for EVE-Gate? It's ugly. What are the web devs actually doing besides updating the patch note page?

Do you know what this would be like? Having a rep fleet inside a POS that is under siege? Invulnerable reppers repping a POS while it's being shot at. This would actually change the balance of the game a bit.

I never got the shield issue with POS, yeah I understand its because you were not applying your skill boosts to the ship, but the same goes for switching ships in station, however they do not emerge with lower shields, do CHAs rep your shields? its been so long I don't remember, but that could be the difference, station insta heals shields so you don't notice, but the CHA doesn't?

the gang bonus thing is working as intended, its not a boost of your shields, its a boost of your shield capacity, filling the glass is up to you or your logi.
when I fly logi I always try and make sure fleet members are topped off when a gang bonus is in effect

Again, this is already being fixed by Crucible 1.1

Go play with it on SiSi to be sure it works for all the POS cases and not just joining shield fleets.

This is the one thing that WoW got right. I play two other MMO's and in both of them, including EVE, I have to log out, and put in my password again just to switch characters. That makes no sense at all. WoW/Blizzard is evil, but at least they have common sense on some things.

I think you misunderstood me Morganta -- the "pos item repper module thing" would only be large enough to rep modules and drones (so ... 1k m3 cargohold), and would use fuel to do the repping. Yes, it would help the defenders in that it allows them to rep overheated mods ... so maybe it can only rep damaged (but not incapp'd*) things?

So, it would have no effect on a ship, though they could hide in the bubble to let the shields recharge if they so chose, but that's no different than now.

*or whatever it's called when you break a module from heat damage.

1) Having a 5k bounty NPC perma ECM for 10 minutes.

2) Having to continuously select "entire region" at every damn BPO copy / research job, just to be able to select your POS labs.

3) PI transfer window not only is counter-intuitive (why the 90% destination which is in space is on the left pane and not the right?).

Plus why no visible "session change" on PI export?

Plus why using a timer to reduce spammable PI export but not do the obvious thing of allowing all launchers to be emptied in one operation? ATM every launcher has to be chosen, then exported, then wait for 10s, rinse and repeat. Lots of time wasted, lots of unnecessary communication to the server.

Um, you have to be withing 2500m of an object to break cloak, not 20. You also have to be within 2500m to jump a gate, not 250. The reason it doesn't jump when cloaked is the cloak hasn't shut off yet when the client attempts to jump. You decloak when you hit the gate and have to hit jump a second time to actually jump when you warp to a gate + jump while cloaked.
