If you want to smartbomb at Jita 4-4, you should probably try the warp-to-zero spots from the Perimiter (and possibly Sobaseki) gates, since the “0m” that restricts the activation of smart bombs is the same 0m that they land on.

I think I heard that story once, but had since forgotten it. Thanks for reminding me.

CCP should have erected a commemorative statue of him in Jita, node crash or not.

There is also a video of someone doing something similar to this in a CNR. It didn't crash the node but the amount of concorde ships that appeared is epic!

there was some talk about this tool getting banned

He did recently do a VanV interview where he claimed he had found a way in EVE to make unlimited ISK and that its not an exploit if CCP didn't know about it : / (after also admitting being banned previously for RMT)

I remember reading a post by one of the staff members at CCP that people can only be banned for ganking in high sec if they avoid getting killed by CONCORD.

So I doubt it makes much difference if it's with blasters or a smartbomb.
