Ishtar as DPS in C3 wh

I wonder if an Ishtar would be a viable option for doing C3 anom in small gang (1-2 tengu + my Ishtar)

After doing some eft, here is my fit:

[Low]

Damage Control II
Armor Explosive Hardener II
True Sansha Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane
Corpum C-Type Medium Armor Repair
True Sansha Medium Armor Repair (will switch to Corpum soon)

[Med]

Corelum 10mn Afterburner
4x Cap Recharger II

[High]

3x 200mm Railgun II w/Uranium or Lead
1x Core Probe Launcher II
1x Empty (no idea)

[Rigs]

2x Medium Capacitor Control Circuit

[Drones]

5x Hob II
5x Hammerhead II
5x Ogre II


Point is that my alt got nothing in missile, but 10 mil sp in drones so I don't want to skill for a tengu. This should bring 650 dps, but I don't know if the tank is enough. I'm new to wormhole.

umm add a remote armor repair in your highs for your drones.

To the OP, can't tell if the tank is enough but you really need to use sentry drones with Sleepers. Ogres will die and take way too much time to travel.

You can't go to WH sites "as DPS" or "as Tank", you will have to tank anyway.

And I'm not sure your tank will be enough against muli-BS waves. Remember that more often than not you won't be able to speedtank because of the webs that are everywhere (I don't think there is any C3 site without them, maybe LADARs...). The neuts are going to hurt too.
And finally, your drones will be targeted and popped often, sentry or heavies. They are only workable in a rr-gang setup, as remote reps seem to draw aggro.

Im not sure about the tank unless I were to plug it into EFT.

Honestly though, I would consider just using a dominix. Bigger better tank, same drone damage. And a dominix hull is less than half the cost of an ishtar.

You also have more to work with, so you could setup the Domi with RR, have your tengu buddies orbit you or something.

You will want to use sentries. The tengu's will be projecting their DPS probably out to 100km. The only thing more annoying than missiles reaching their target after it pops is watching ogre's get halfway there when they pop.

Yes drones get aggro, but honestly with 3 people I rarely see the aggro switch to them. But sentries will still be quick to scoop.

That being said, the sad fact is you can go from 0 to a workable drake in like a month, which will still outperform your ishtar in the WH. Yes that fact annoys me as well.

IIRC HACs don't have the cap to tank C3s (except the Sac). They barely had the sig+speed+resists+buffer+slots to survive solo before the neut changes. Deimos looks shaky with a lack of EHP & cap and need of pimpage, the Sac could tank like a legion but crap dps at crap range, RiotRick (the pre-neuts best c3 Legion fit creator) showed his Zealot needed heat, much manual piloting and luck to survive just a 1BS+4F spawn before the neuts back in the day. T3 or dreak or CS.
