No. It's more that the reasons people bring up for their removal are all complete bunk (further compounded by the ideas for how to remove them being consistently awful).

The second biggest fail today is dropping 5 SCs and a carrier to kill a fleet issue battleship...

EDIT: Must learn to count someday...

Perhaps it's all my fault for not recognizing that 564M is an unlimited amount of funds for some people instead of just "Thursday". My bad. What?

Thank you for posting this synopsis and light tutorial on the subject of Soul ****.

If only the pilot had a web cam we could watch his eyes go from shock, to realization, to abject terror, then to that exact moment where you look into his eyes and watch that glimmer of innocence and childish joy die followed by the twisting of his face into a mask of grief, loss and depression.

Watching a person be destroyed internally always gives me an appetite. This killmail is an extra 2 pounds on my figure. Ugh

I too like items that are acquired solely on the principle of what year you were playing the game. Not even how long you were playing it mind you, but only if you were playing during a very specific window of EVE's existence. Makes complete sense! What makes it even better is that everyone needs them... yes... I too think they are awesome Tippia you have done it again!

I don't know what you're talking about, but the topic here is T2 BPOs.

Invention was the best implementation of the removal of TII BPOs.

While the BPOs aren't actually removed they don't make more money from them than someone doing the same via invention. Anyone that can't understand this after looking at the figures is a complete moron.

Having said that; the loss is significant because they are a finite resource.

Copies, look at the other loot! I know from personal losses that BPC's vs BPO's can show wrong on killboards.

Some were, The Anathema and the Gyro stab II blueprints were originals though (if the PL killboard is to be believed...)

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Sometimes when I post, I look at my sig and wish that I'd follow my own god damned advice.

The original killmail says:

  • Anathema Blueprint (Copy) (In Container)
  • Gyrostabilizer II Blueprint (Copy) (In Container)

Not sure what is accurate at the moment. But you can get to it by clicking the icon under the "Victim" section.

I also wanted to add, that it was indeed T2 BPOs that dropped for the CCP t2 BPO loot caravan they paraded around.

Assuming the PL killboard is not displaying a completely fictitious mail, you can all see the word (copy) after blueprint copies, to differentiate between them and originals. If it doesn't have the word (copy) after it, it's a BPO.

But then again, most of you are busy arguing about completely irrelevant crap that's tangentially related to this at best, so vOv

And the PL killboard shows, on the item list, as BPO. But, if you open the raw text kill mail it has (Copy) at the back. Which one of the two is it?

Hell if I know. If it says that, then PL probably fudged some things (naughty naughty)

Either way that guy's still out ~10B :smug:

We don't bother fudging things, our Killboard does everything automatically, like the other day when a member posting a nyx kill at the same time as the API pulled it resulted in it displaying an extra dead super, within about 30 minutes the killboard sorted itself out.

There are very few things that can get you infracted in PL, and dicking with the killboard is one of them.

All of the other BPO's that list as BPO's that dropped, are in fact BPO's, so I have no reason to believe that the others aren't.

Also to the guy that calls dropping 5 supers on a faction BS a failure, if you paid a ****** sum of money for a ship, would you let it sit in a tower and collect dust or use it every chance you could? I think the answer is obvious, so we afford our members the chance to use them as often as possible.
