First off, I think CCP really kicked butt with the recent updates identified in the recent Dev Blog, especially in regards to the compact member list. If possible, I'd like to take this one step further, in that I'd like to be able to filter my member list by standing/war dec. Basically, I'd like to be able to put members that I select as -10 standing on the top, with the remainder listed alphabetically. Thoughts?

Nah. If you're not paying attention to local and a "hostile" enters system, tracks you down, and kills you... it's your fault for not paying attention. This makes it too easy for "timid fellows" to ID threats and dock up.

Precisely. This is for those folks smart enough to flag certain pilots with -10 standings and watch local already. I'm not suggesting a warning system of "DING! Hostile in system." This is just a convenience for folks that already know what they are doing.

Simple "flagging" of your enemies is not what I consider to be "paying attention." Stop being lazy and check the local list if you are so paranoid. D-Scan also helps too.

i prefer an audible sound some sort of preset alarm or by all means allow us to choose our ring tone lolz but if you set a negitive to a player hear the buz when in local and now you can decide if you get in your kill ship or cower in station lol

i am speeking slightly sarcastic but kinda thik this is viable
