Fastest Drake fit for CN lvl iii's

Hi ladies & gents of S&M....


One of my chars is currently skilling up Subsystems for a Tengu, until that happens I'm having to do the grind to get my standings ready for level 4's.

Just opened up 3's, and I wanted to know your thoughts on what Drake fit will clear these missions the fastest, expensive mods that can be moved over to the T3 are 'OK' (I think, not sure how likely a Drake is to get ganked in Highsec on the proviso I use insta's, and don't stop to stare at nebulae...)

Thoughts?

basically all you can do is fit as many BCU's or faction BCU's i on your ship. Along with a a target painter.. other then that there aint much you can do to improve dmg really

For level 3s? Fit it like you would a Tengu. It's very tight on CPU, so the tractor beam or the Bay Loading Accelerator can probably be removed.

I'd probably change a couple of the fittings, but this would work. And probably give you a tiny idea of what flying a tengu would be like. Also, I would go for mission specific hardners. I'm assuming the above fit is for Angels. Would probably also do a mixture of rigor and flare rigs, but that's me.

If you can't fit the above, I would highly recommend training some more before stepping into a Tengu. Training your support skills up while in a Drake would be more effective IMHO that training for the Tengu straight away.

A pure buffer setup might not be enough tank (thought it might) and a passive setup eats up rigs and lows that could be used to throw out more damage. So, active.

Not quite what you asked for but the following fit works very well for lvl3's without costing much and only 1 or 2 missions take some effort. The lower grade missiles cost nothing (relatively) and they hit frigs and Cruisers with ease compared to Fury types.

Not the fastest but very capable.

Ran this without rigs for a long time and didn't have issues. It is a tight fit in the CPU area so Weapon Upgrades to 4 is recommended

I used the below fit for blitzing lvl3's, its way overtanked, but don't need to worry about mission specific hardeners. Cap recharge time is dead slow.. but if you use the mwd to only get to gates and mission drops its OK.

Some ok fits but some pretty awful ones posted too so far.

Your best option is to active tank, active tanks use less slots which means more spare slots for boosting damage, a DED small booster would be perfect because it requires no cap mods to run(and could be later re-used on a tengu), plus it only uses a tiny amount of CPU make everything else easier to fit.

So without being stupid(100s of millions of faction mods) something like this would be best:
