Is it on my end or has this become a slower than normal affair for others?

Don't want to submit a bug report if it's just corrupted files on my end.

updated my sisi folder last night. Got the same on log in. something like " character connection complete, acquiring bulk data" there it sits for next half an hour. i got fed up with it and turned it off after the 3rd attempt.
