So whats the deal with the outrageous prices of PLEX now days, and why are they going up 15-25mil a day?

They're only bouncing up and down a few million per day (at around 450-460).

If they were going up 15-20M per day then we'd be over 500 and headed for 600.

I believe the magic word you are seeking is "Incursions".

They allow even casuals to accumulate way beyond what a PLEX costs per month. So more (poor, unemployed - that's also popular these days) players pay their EVE subs with PLEXes.

At the same time there is a shortage of rich bastards who dump PLEXes on the market to buy bling bling ships.

-> PLEX price goes up.

Naturally as it creeps up, more people go "OMG I can get how many hundred million if I sell a PLEX?" and that does eventually put brakes on it.

You can buy Fanfest tickets with ISK via PLEX.

Poor but ISK-rich players who spent their RL moneys on the airplane ticket save some money by using ISK for the entry fee.

Where I am based in high sec things seem to be going up in price. I have having to increase the value of my buy orders every night.

Allot of turbulence in the air...

I have never seen prices fluctuate so such extreme degree's since iv started playing.
they go up really high, back down to the lowest possible points and then back up even higher and it just keeps repeating itself almost randomly.

My best advice now is to try to predict the price throws and just buy hard when it dips and sell off when it goes to high.

Avoid anything that looks fishy, like selling your stock when the items seems to crash hard, or placing buy orders when the price starts to grow in a way where it just seems out of place.

PLEX, be careful, and be patient, very patient at times.

Sometime I have some fun with my alt day trading Plex at Jita. But, the last days Everyone wanna do it. You have to use like 4 orders at the time to get any action. It updates so fast that before you type your order 4 are in front of you. So, I am out

Its seems to be the "hot" thing" and to hot for me atm. I dunno if its gonna crash, but the Isk per h is not worth it for me.

Looks like CCP is looking at " review the Incursion content, and make adjustments as needed." Since they got a "a stack of feedback from the CSM". I'm guess an isk nerf. Sell you plex if you got'em!
