EVE Store - Do they email your order

I purchased some ~stuff~ from the EVE store 3-4 days ago now. Do they usually email you with an order number confirmation and/or let you know when it's been dispatched? The only thing I received was a receipt from paypal.

I don't know, just logged into the store to see if there is a FAQ or something that would give an answer. About the only relevant bit of information is that the store was closed until the 7th and would restart order processing on the 8th of January. (Presumably GMT)

Hmm. Maybe they are running behind on processing the orders

That is what I was thinking. I'm surprised there is no automated mechanism at the front end though. Presumably you have checked your junk/spam folders, etc.?

I heard email cost 5 aurum, make sure you have enough in your wallet then refresh email.

I actually just logged into teh store and checked my account. The order is there with Payment pending, and the total amount is listed as an unprocessed payment. So I guess they're just slow at taking my money.

depends on the cart software and how much human interaction is needed to update order status

small scale retailers are inclined to not make the process 100% automated, just in case.
plus dealing with paypig in an automated fashion requires delving into the paypig API and setting up response handlers and all that jazz.
