It's getting to the point now that a lot of fittings require twin propulsion mods to work effectively. Afterburner to keep your speed up while short-pointed, and MWD to close (or keep) distance. It's clunky but necessary.

Instead, I propose that they be combined into one module; a MWD that has reduced cap use/sig radius when throttled back to AB speed levels, and that scales up as you throttle towards maximum power.

To that end, I also propose a keyboard shortcut for adjusting the throttle.

It means you have to sacrifice tank or EWAR etc to be able to maintain your speed while Scrammed, therefore its a tactical choice.

awww c.mon, go with this idea. Think of the poor cyna pilots. They suffer in silence daily with a piece of crap cruiser that can't tank very well. Let them have a MWD that can act as an AB, they get a mid slot back...all is well in eve. What could possibly go wrong with cyna's that keep all their top speed and can cut back the throttle for less sig and get a mid slot back to get a better tank or moar e-war stuff Roll

Only if all ships, except Amarr lose a midslot .. else all pvp fights will be like ratting blood/sansha with stupid amounts of TDs fielded Smile
