I for one think its F***ing lame glad the null alliance CSM had its way once more. I've been in FW from the launch, this has a 85% of getting me out, of eve as well.

Nobody is smart enough to prognosticate with certainty what will happen months from now. Whether you choose to stay or leave is up to you. I just recommend staying for as long as you can and see how the landscape develops before making any decisions.

High Five. Yeah! C'est La Eve .

Just becaus ethe die hard FW fans are going to endure this perhaps good/bad change anyway.

This "sit back and deal with it" stuff coming from the 0.0 guys... Just because you suck at 0.0 and fancy trashing an almost undergroud playstyle of the game, doesnt mean the worried FW folk who actually DO PLAY IT are mugs or idiots!!!

I hope it incresses targets all over FW and not just the core systems, the only reason they ARE core systems atm is because thats where the fairly few numbers actually get togthe rmost often - a sudden surge of players of any side will be bad for all side. Thats the genuine worry.

Trolls like to have fun too, just in a different way from other players. After seeing what I saw in 2011, my ISK is on the Minmatar. Gallente went OP. What is going stop the Gallent OP'ing the Minmatar? The Amarr militia? Yeah right!

Pandemic Legion are joining the Amarr Militia??? Pirate
Don't know if this is a good or a bad thing What?

When is a major alliance like that joining any militia good? Last I heard PL was hired to attack -A-. Why would an alliance like that fight in the militia for free when they can get paid in null. Makes no sense. Cant just choose a major alliance like that and say they will fight without facts to back yourself up. If you have them, please show them. I think -A- will love to see them leave their space.

Yes, Caldari Militia chat is actually pretty quiet from time to time now, confirming my assumption that 99% of the people whom talked in general MIlitia were spys. Now you will see what we have had to deal with for such a long time. TBH some of them seemed to troll non stop, it and used to make me wonder when they actually played the game on their mains. Lol

Just saying what I heard from my lead in -A-. PL was hired to attack -A- by SS. Why would PL join the militia for free rather than fight for billions? What would be in it for PL to join the Amarr or Minmatar militia?

Not sure how I feel about this alliance thing, I guess time will tell.

PL CSM or any Nullsec CSM calling this a fix to FW is a slap to the face, There all self serving idiots for the MOST part, This gives alliances easy access to better missions hence them being self serving asswipes. What if I like the idea? No need to be a hater. Alliances deserve some of the militia action as well.

Sure they do, but what 'price' should one put on it?

Existing active militia members live in LS thus risking not only enemies but pirates (FW areas are very popular for pirates) and we volunteer to essentially give up going to half of high-sec as most active members are played as 'mains'.

Proposed entry for alliances based on the exact same criteria as existing members means that they get all 'rewards' with none of risks. Their mains live in in the blue-sea so are only subject to enemy/pirate when they chose to and unless things have changed dramatically any high-sec business they may have is handled by tag-alongs or alts.

Most of us would love to get null nublets to pad our boards, but they should have to make the same sort/level of sacrifice as existing members have made to join the party .. that is why I at least is against it.

Either way, letting a hundred or a thousand active players into the broken mess that is FW is a recipe for disaster .. might be a good idea to get rid of the rotten apples out of the barrel before pouring in a sack of fresh produce.

But as for this alliance thing, I'm waiting before I write it off completely. I'm guessing it will make things a little more interesting in the beginning, but will then fail-cascade like so many "fixes" do. Here's to hoping it will actually work out and everyone will be happy pandas.

Call me a hopeful pessimist.

Nothing better than heating things up with such a change. I can see alliances being formed within the militia. This can possibly mean larger fleets. The only people who would not like this are the larger corporations that dominate the FW and pirates. Nobody likes change, especially they are benefiting from the old ways. New ways will change the field. It keeps one group from dominating and dead locks from happening.

Nothing like a over-reaction. The possibility of that happening is slim to none. There will be too many chiefs and not enough indians. All these corporations will form small alliances. They start merging at some time. Smaller alliances into larger ones. There is a reason why there are more than 2 alliances. As long as players aim for more power and expansion on their own, CEO that are power hungry and goal to create their alliance and players who are individually power hungry create their own corporations or join a corporation to work though ranks and possibly take over, there will always be small alliances and corporations to bully around and groups collapsing. Every group as their day. The larger you get, the sooner you are destined to fall apart from the inside. Therefore, there will never only be 4 alliances to join in the militia. So, go create your own, join a small one, or none at all.

Yes, I am saying in your face, "in 3 months all of call-ammar and gall-mini wont be like 2-4 alliances all mixed together."

BTW Ammar is spelt Amarr.
