Hi !

I'm thinking about developing the fastest method to farm lvl 4 missions.

Atm I have a Paladin, and my alt comes with me with a support dps fitted Raven with T2 cruise missiles.

Now I'm thinking of traning the Raven alt char for the Golem with siege missiles, but i'm not sure if it is the best thing I choose.

So what is your advice guys for a support dps ship?

Thank you for your help!

Two navy scorpions with cruise missiles. No need to run around, just sit there and blast everything to smithereens.

Golem requires a lot TP juggling to be effective, and the torps have range issues. I doubt it would be fun to have to constantly bounce back and forth between the accounts.

A sentry domi with the sentries assisting the Paladin might require the least micro management.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

How big is the torpedo range?

I can play with 2 clients windowed mode easyly, cause i have a big monitor.

Use a Mach on one and then on the other use a Mach.

With Missile Projection and Missile Bombardment at V, a 5% missile velocity implant, and two Hydraulic Bay Thrusters II rigs, you reliably get 40km with t1 torps and 60km with javelin torps. (Also, the Golem is a bit too skill and hardware intensive for the level of DPS you get for it, IMO.)

It's not a question of big monitors, it's a question having to micro-manage 3+ Target Painters with 10 second cycles, swapping ammo, waiting on reloading (either from swapping to Javelins or from only having 20 volleys in the launchers,) volley counting to avoid overkill, etc.. All of which cuts into the Golem's DPS.

If you don't want to use the sentry Domi, then you would probably get more effective applied DPS by using a Tengu instead of the Golem. Have the Tengu orbit your Paladin and spam HMLs.

Too me Machs are way too active and time consuming targetting and keeping optimal and all of that to run two of them I find it annoying just trying to tag team with, you are almost always doing something.

Fastest way? Run thousands of nullsec recon 1/3 with fast ships.

I've seen people run Nightmare + Domi very successfully.
But as an alternative to Domi - what about Rattlesnake?

golem shoots bs/bc, paladin shoots anything smaller at range, the two ships should actually work pretty well together. the only annoyance is the golem's limited range, might be more worthwhile to just get a cnr for that reason.

There's no "best" (EvE philosophy and all) but depending on the NPCs distances you could use several configurations.

Multibox configurations I used (I fly minnie ships):

1) Mach or BabyVarg mael + arty mael

2) 1 - 2 Mach or BabyVarg + arty mael + SEBO Noctis

3) 2 arty maels + SEBO Noctis

Noctis is used to make locks faster and / or suppress dampeners / and / or web and so on.

Tengu + SNI (Noctis cleanup) works great.

It is not faster. That is the point. I can run faster with two tengus with 1/10th the clicks. Mach is over rated

Why are you giving two hoots about optimal in a Mach? Your optimal is absolutely unimportant for that ship. It is *all* about falloff.

Missioning in a mach involves:

a) Warpin
b) Target thing
c) hit f1
d) Go back to b) until there are no more things

I found running machs to be by far the *least* work of any missioning boats. With a proper fit you can kill anything right out to your lock range and it's fast enough that gated missions aren't horrible if you forgot to fit an AB.

How do you get 1/10th? I get two clicks per target for both tengu and mach. One to lock, one to start firing. And with your DPS, I'm done in 1/2 the time.

Currently I run a sentry rattlesnake and paladin. You get the best of everything, Rattlesnake tanks any spawns, spits decent DPS due to sentry rigs and cruise missiles. Paladin adds t2 tachs as well as salvaging on the go. You get increased DPS, a salvager to pair with a ship that can afk due to drones and a HUGE tank.

Saying that, it cost's 2 bill combined due to faction hull, marauder hull and 2 t2 rigs on the rattlesnake.
