read my post and comment please

Lads and gents,

this is gonna be creative one. As we are now facing pretty decent amount of faggots we faced problem of killmail denial “exploit”.
Please no rage about using word exploit. It is probably valid tactics, what sucks is that nobody gets kill mail.
What happened while we were killing the Tengu.
0. SLAPD pilot found he cannot win and his tengu will end in flames
1.he set self destruct
2. jumped out of ship in pod
3. we tried to board the ship – it is not possible because it is set to selfdesruct
4. we poped the ship to make economical damage, but we knew km is lost.

Is there a way to get the kmail?

If not I would propose to change one of the following when u have aggro. Similar change which canceled the sucky logoffski ****.
- disable selfdestruct option if aggro (not veryu happy about it though)
- deliver km of empty ship with last blow even if sd – if it had aggro
Or any other creative change that would disable this ****.

Same is with scooping ships into carriers if it is going down – u cannot scoop agressed ship.

PVP should be about kills and tactics and less about exploiting.

Ok, if someone ejects from a ship and you kill it, you still get a killmail. So either check your combat log better, or stop lying. On a side note, ppl who eject from T3s before dying, do it so they don't lose SP.

Also, learn to link properly.

Also, IGB is a crap corp and you are the worst wanna be FC ever. And you seem a terrible person too.

I suppose they could make it so it is owned like a POS module, as you get KM's for popping POS modules. I'd also imagine that my proposal would be pretty open to abuse aswell. Could set a timer aswell, so if your ship gets popped within x minutes after you have punched out, KM is recorded with your loss.

EDIT:

[removed unrelated crap].

Have no idea 'bout this. I'm not that familiar with it yet.

Never heard of mails being lost for killing ships regardless of pilot location.

Could be a bug related to the SD/eject though, so report it as such.

Scuttling itself will (hopefully) never change in a manner that you suggest, if a person chooses to chomp down on his cyanide to prevent you from beating him to death, it is on you to stop him.

... u mad? BTW it is not IGB but IBS ... have fun

well anyway ... if the km is not lost have to report it, because we poped it.

to people not being very good in eve ... warping to same instaundock with t3 (where we killed his 2 other ships in last 15 minutes) is kinda special. .... but i know this guy is special ;)

To confirm:

1. If pilots ejects you still get a kill mail and it also get recorded as a loss the the pilot who ejected.
2. He knew you guys were gonna kill him so he ejected so no SP was lost.

I would petition and report it.

Not to add, just confirming shooting an empty ship will still generate a KM against the last person that sat in it.

And I'm not entirely convinced that self-destruct continues on an empty ship, I do believe that gets cancelled as well. You cannot, however, board a ship that's locked by another ship.

It sounds like the OP is basically ********.

Like it or not, but KM denial is a tactic just as any other, granted a crappy one but it serves its purpose of pissing off the guys killing you. It's also a way to deny loot drops.

dont call it an Exploit. seems to me is working as intended.

the ships is protecting the pilot from committing suicide. yo can't cancel something you didnt initiate in the first place.

EvE is so great. tears seems to come in different style and fashion. Big smile

I did not call it exploit but "exploit" .... i see it as a valid tactics (if no emotions on the scene), problem is lack of km available to post and wave our epeens :)

So what you are saying is killmails should be removed from the game. I approve this message and/or service.

Sounds like you want him to do the "honorable" thing and take a KM loss.

This. You get a T3 pilot to eject, you need to bring in your own to fly the ship home.

If a player is about to lose and self destructs, a KM should be created

Tbh if someone manages to SD their ship, fair game to them.

Having the same SD timer for an Aeon as a Rifter though? Now that is stupid.
