CCP has a great ability in making trailers (the battles depicted there are magnificent) but when you get into large scale in game battles you just see a pile of ships in a random attacking each other.

What i am suggesting here is the Pilot of the Command ship should have the ability to form the team players up in a formation were their skills would be more useful. This would be before the Warping into the battle ground.

This feat should only be available to the Command ship pilots (here comes the name command ship, right?). It would require level 5 leadership skills and arrangement with the team members.


This idea if in favor could use of some improvements.

I've felt that this should be the case since I first learned what a blob was. The trailers really do make it look fantastic; and I hope CCP finds way to move there some day.

Fully supported of course.

Think I remember that CCP were proposing this a few expansions ago along with comet mining and whatnot, though must have been put on the shelf for the time being.

All for improving the aesthetics of the game.

anything that improves the atmosphere and customisation in the game is not a bad thing.

note:. customisation does not equal new spaceships and new equipment that has stats that is game content, for some reason there are a large number of gamers out there now who can't tell the difference :(

I would love to see this feature in the game! It would be great for any large fleet and would be fun to create your own formations.
