I'm missing Tony G already.
Tell me what you think - if it pleases you to do so -
It is after all, a start;

Empty horizons have a fascination all of their own. Filled with barren potential, Geana mused as she surveyed the unwavering curve of the skyline for activity. A skittering movement caught her eye, but it was amongst the dust rusty gravel below. A single biting roach ventured within inches of where she stood. Idelly she screwed the nuisance into to ground with the ball of her foot.

It was time enough for a Gallente shuttle to descend from overhead. It looked unremarkable at first glance, it’s verdigris coloration already well weathered, but the blue blaze of it’s thrusters only now rang loudly to the ear as it settled lightly upon the surface.

A single man emerged, cool, understated, efficient. Nothing about his attire resonated with any particular Federation culture. His eyeware as common and expressionless as the relaxed set of his mouth.

“Cold-gas arc-jets, on a shuttle?” Geana questioned as the agent stepped up. He glanced back at the vehicle but declined to comment, reveling only that he had no capsuleer contact sockets fitted at the back of his neck, or maybe that they were thoroughly disguised.

He swiftly lifted the attache case he had been carrying. Opened it with a sweep of the genetically sensitive clasp and revealed the contents.

Geana collected the datachip nestled at the centre of the open case.

“Thank you” Geana stated. The man nodded, returned to the vehicle and left.

Geana’s lips twisted in lob sided appreciation of their competentce as the shuttle rose into the steel grey sky to become a silhouette not so unlike the rampant eagle that stood as a crest for the disparate worlds that formed the Federation.

“Snowflake, Snowflake, Snowflake.” Geana muttered as she slipped the chip into her portable reader. 'Ethernity I' the document header read. She scanned down the text far enough to ascertain that is was the declassified history of the once temperate planet she was currently standing on. “What have you got us into now?”

Geana straddled her sleek red ground sled and sped with habitual high velocity back to Snowflake’s massive planetary launchpad and the familiar cold comfort of space.
