Just to make the stations seem more lively, you should put arcades inside the stations.

This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

And do what? Play for 2 mins then get bored? That is a waste of dev time.

When WIS was a priority I had hoped that atleast if they were going to make all that crap. They would implement more than just 1-2 table games.

Chess, Checkers etc.. Something that dosent require anything but models moving around

Why? There are reasons against.

Eve is set in a far future, where little of culture we know today has remained. All the races are descended from us, but their culture has nothing in common with ours. On top of that a lot of time has passed any memory of 20th century to remain.
Do you know which games were played in English inns during the reign of Elizabeth I? And even if you know, how many of the ordinary people on the street will know?

Arcade games would have little gameplay value. People play them mostly because of nostalgia, as many of these games were very formulaic and unimaginative. And we had an immense amount of such formulaic top-down scrolling space shooters or side-scrolling martial arts games. Of course there were some really good games as well, but like today such games are far and few between.

And too its a waste of dev resources better spent elsewhere.

Nine Men's Morris, chess, cards (yes, there were card games back then), dice games....

And quite a few people -- historians, most of them -- will know exactly what most of those are.

I can't get rid of my darn signature!  Oh, wait....
