I, one time, tried to live in nullsec. Constant attacks, my alliance said "no mining if we are attcked" and everyday I logged on we were attacked. After 2 weeks of not being allowed to mine (much less build anything) I quit the game.

I came back after a year and swore never to go back to nullsec (except to ORE space to try and buy BPO's). Now I live in the safty of WormHole space.

I love WH space. Few attacks, if I want to do nothing but mine (I can pay someone to clear the belt), the corp compresses my ore for transport to high-sec. Life is good. Only 2 downsides, 1) 5% corp tax including on ore (But it is worth it) 2) I have to wait for a WH to open to normal space. But I live with it because of the cash I am making.

if your in a null sec alliance things are brought up through jumping it and anything big like ships are made by the alliance in null with an industry sector, i havent yet been in an alliance in null with no ability to be partly self sufficiant.

it all boils down to what you want to do and if your stupid enough to advertise to griefers you want their titanium shells penetrating your hull as an industry player myself and having been involved with PVP you just have to get on with life and play it how u want to play it and avoid those who threaten to spoil it.

when someone comes along with a big stick and wacks you with it you learn next time to avoid it ...... or get wacked again .
