Ganks depends on alot of DPS very quickly. How do you plan on fortifying the hulk for the 1-3 seconds it takes to pop one?

Concord is going to kill them in like 7 seconds anyways, not really a point to try and add DPS to concordokken.

It does not take 30 BS to kill a hulk. Hell Destroyer can kill a hulk.

And why would they shoot at ships they did not come to shoot at, and when they are not even red to them.

Being in the same fleet does not share Aggro.

Even when one BS goes red, your ships will not dish out enough dps before Concord arrives

The point is to be immune from Concord while you smash on the hulkisissydom participants. The miners are forfeit, a barge with a single lvl1 mining laser - BAIT! Just set the barge going, exit the miner to be in a battleship. The point is to have a surprise waiting. The point is to have more FUN with the game.

If they kill hulk it is victory if not they lose, so only way to fight against them is to keep hulks alive.

Maybe ehp tanked hulk with command ship boost for tanking and lot of constant remote repair going on.

But then again raises question, why to do that? is it profitable to protect hulk? No, better is to grind isk for next hulk with that protection team.

I don't think you understand how this happens.

30 BSes show up to kill 10 hulks (why BSes? Because in your example you made them idiots, normally it'd be cheaper ships). Now these BSes, thankfully, aren't so dumb as to all fire at one hulk and then the next, etc. What they do is, one BSes decides to kill a single hulk, another BSes decided to kill a different hulk, etc. leaving 20 BSes to jerk off.

Okay, so now they fire and with any luck their VERY FIRST VOLLEY WILL DESTROY THE HULK. Concord shows up 4 seconds later and jams/scams and kills the only the BSes that fired.

Now, what could you have done with your fleet to prevent this? You could have shot them before they shot the hulks, but then concord would kill you, and you wouldn't kill the BSes quickly enough. You could fire at them the second the fired at the hulks but the hulk dies anyway and so does the BS (due to concord, not you) so you haven't really contributed anything except to a reduction in ammo supply.

There is not much you could effectively do to combat a suicide ganker.

Now I've taken all this time to explain this to you because you said you were still new to the game. As a favor you could buy a few plexs and then purchase this fine pure breed orca pilot from me.

There is no point in shooting at something that is planning on getting blown up a few seconds later. They are committing to death the moment they shoot at the hulk.
