I have heard about extending of grid. How to do it, etc...

However today we have had splitted grid in LXQ2 system.

How to do it and is it any detectable?

Please find someone that has knowledge of grammar and ask them to type your question for you. I have no idea what you are asking.

Are you referring to "grid-fu"? There is a manual that goon put out. linkage. If im not mistaken that "spitted" grid is called "WTF space". Though im not entirely sure what your asking. Big smile

It's actually quite easy to do. Fly to the edge of a grid and at the point you 'disappear', drop a can. The grid will magically be larger than it was. You see it alot in large fleet fights when there are wrecks/cans all over the place.

The link in the post above explains it fully.

However, I am pretty sure CCP said this was a no-no to do it on purpose. Don't quote me on it but you may wish to check before you do it.

I've been told by quite a few people that grid-fu is petitionable, as it can be used to hide ships that should be visible and other such silliness.

I wish CCP would abandon the grid mechanic entirely (I know it would be a major coding change. I'm wishing here.) Before I knew what grids were, I thought there was a "sensor range" outside of which things fell off the overview. It would be cool to see such a mechanic, especially if different ships had different sensor ranges I'm thinking Command Ships, for their role, would have massive ranges

The last time I heard an official response from CCP was "it's not an intentional feature, but we don't really care". Unless you do ridiculous things like hiding ships 50k away from a POS but not on grid with it, that raises some eyebrows.

I think his questions were quite clear, fact that you do not understand what he asked may be indication of that you have no clue how grids work.

It was considered an exploit (in very specific circumstances) when titan DD hit the whole grid. Now they don't so its not.

this is exactly what i'm asking about. In the last battle we got it. Our standard fleet was near to useless because of this grid-fu. But people said that stealth bombers used situation very well. No one around knows how to make it especially.

Yesterday i have read that guide. Tried it on practice and made some funny tricks....
