CCP has now introduced the new invul fields on SISI: new deadspace invul fields What will be the market effects when they hit tranq?

I know it will take some time for the mods to drop from plexes so the price will remain high for Estamel's since it is still the best. But I do believe that overall, prices will drop as competition kicks in. How far down do they drop is my question.
The Caldari Navy invul is priced such as it is because certain tags needed to get it from the lp store are priced very high due to limited drops(and competition) so there will be reluctance to drop the price on it.

where do these new invuln fields come from?

if they drop in existing plexes, the drop chance for other deadspace items will have to be reduced accordingly.

(not sure how many holes are still left in the plex line-up)

CN invulns (and officer invulns) are going to crash in price. There is no x-type, so estamels is still the best, but its not going to be worth anything near what it is now.

Pretty much this, all of them, including estamels are going to drop in price. I'd say crash in price. Why estamels too? Even if it is the best demand for it will drop since some people will be willing to have second best for 30% less isk resulting in lower demand.

Sell'em if you got'em because you'll be able to buy them back for less in a few months, hell probably weeks as the prices crash due to speculation.

This pure Orca character is for sale.

Hmm interesting. One of the last truely valuable Gurista officer items (appart from Estamel) will now chrash and burn.

What I wonder is how this will effect the market for T2 shield rigs and the components that use them. As more and more people become willing to pimp fit their shield ships start to purchase these new modules (especially at their inflated introductory price), it seems like at least a good chance to see them also willing to purchase T2 rigs.

Then again, will the increased rate of T2 salvage material be enough to offset any potential for these rigs to rise much in price?

Risky area to speculate in I think.
