Skills disappearing after character transfer

For some reason after a character transfer I lost all of my missile skills and some mechanic skills got knocked down a few levels. I tried relogging, and clearing the cache but neither worked. Has this happened to anyone else?

I did. But the game masters like to take their time so I thought I'd see if there was a faster route.

How do you know they were lost if it was a transfer? Eveboard can be faked.

As for the bug seen, I had something similar happen last year when I moved a character between my accounts and had not logged in to the character between the time the skill had ended and completed the transfer.

It took a lot of convincing of the GM that something wrong had happened as their logs were lacking, in the end they did find a log entry that a 3d skill had taken 25d to complete... All was fixed in the end though.

I really hope I don't have to convince them. I don't really have any proof besides a ship already fitted with items I don't have the skills for.

I've petitioned skill loss before, it took a little while to get a reply from them. When I finally got the reply though, they admitted there was a mistake and they adjusted the skills to what they should have been at.

You did the correct thing by filing a petition. Sadly no one on the forums will be able to help you on this matter. I recommend that you be patient and the GM's will get back to you as fast as they can.
