When you get jump clones, you can have diff implants for diff needs.

Could I divide the slots so that for example, 3 handle gunnery and 2 handle shield or should i focus all slots on only one thing?

Wouldn't be too bothered about shields as a gallente they tend to armour tank.

As to the whether to focus on tank or DPS, I'd say DPS , for one fairly simple reason, there is a lot you can do to vary your tank for different situations Active/passive, buffer/res, whereas your DPS is pretty much capped by the number of turrets you can fit (with optional boosters of course). Also in a way DPS bleeds into tanking abiltility the faster you kill something the less damage you take overall, while the reverse is also true, the longer I can stay in the fight the more DPS I can put out the second case is very situational ie only really useful in a 'I should have warped out 10 secs ago last stands'.

just my 0.02 isks, your milage may vary and as ever the esoteric art of shipfitting is open to much debate.

Yeah, you know what, there goes being nice to the new guy. At each point until now, I included useful and topical information in my replies to you. Now we get to drive right off the rails. Twisted

Let's start the fun with the OP.
Actually, let's start it before the OP. Where you post a blindingly obvious S&M topic in GD, even though they had to scroll right past S&M, and it's pretty hard to convincingly say that you didn't realize implants might fall under that category without massive head trauma.
On to the OP.

Hi,

I am aware that hardwires give you bonuses in combat, but im not sure which one is suitable for me?

So can you help me decide what 5 hardwaires should i get for slot 5-10?

Thanks.

The Hardwirings are not suitable for you, as you appear to fly no ship and do nothing with the not-a-ship you don't fly.

I cannot in good conscience help you decide what 5 "hardwaires" as such off brand implants might damage your neural matrix further than it already is. I cannot even help you decide what Hardwirings are appropriate to to your aforementioned apparent preference for flying no ship and doing nothing with it.

For you information Ruby, there is nothing wrong with the UNI. I find most of my information from there.

The fact that I posted a topic of multiple forums, with this being one of them, does not suggest that there is something wrong with UNI's teaching. I simply did this, in order to be able to refer to different sources. And also because, I happened to have the question while i was off game. Doing this is simply an alternative to asking questions in UNI.

I'm deeply sorry for asking the wrong question whose topic i knew nothing about ...

The choice of what implant types to use in each is an extraordinarily basic exercise in looking at what you're doing and seeing where you struggle or where you can improve, then looking at a table that anyone with access to the E-UNI wiki (or Google) should be able to find for you. The fact that you hadn't found the information in your clearly exhaustive search of the UNI's resources indicates that it is a difficult question made no easier by basic specificity.

If you knew nothing about it, and yet wanted to learn, wouldn't that imply curiosity, and isn't the appropriate response to curiosity in this day and age to Google that mother? Or perhaps you're teaching mentors haven't deigned to divulge the tightly held sekrit of their publicly available Wiki.

And this is what the UNI has to offer as its public face.

Finally, I even managed to give you useful information in this post, 'cause I seem to be terrible at actually filling a post with pure abuse. So heck, I'm even being on topic while trying to help you run this off the rails.

Normally I really try to avoid hating on the newbies, which is why I used to like the UNI, before they seemed to stop doing anything other than teach pathological risk avoidance to new players, when new players literally have the least to lose since they *can't* fly expensive ships. But when the newbies get all angry at me for trying to help them, it's time to toss in a few punches.

My opinion of the Uni would change drastically if they purged those members who are neither new nor teaching. Also if their members would come in here with anything other than shiptoast to start their forum careers.
