Also like the new NEOCOM menu - but now the rest of the UI/overview windows looks like crap ! :-) - we need something that is more in the style of the neocom menu to make the whole interface more slik en well nicer

Thanks for that!

I really don't want to applaud you too much, because the watch list was one of the lowewererest hanging fruits ever to be picked. But damn, finally, thank you so much.

Same for the overload thingies, awesome. No more accidental dying not-overheating or burning out modules. Smile

Hi,
Could you add new Neocom accessory button for the new compare tool. It is damn hard to access atm because there isn't even shortcut command available.

Neocom comments should go in this thread where it's more likely that the people who worked on it will notice your requests/issues

Hi,

there are a few new things from Team BFF in the latest build.

Please play around with them and let us know if you have some issues Big smile

  • New agents list, it tells you if you've been offered or if you've accepted a mission from an agent
  • Watch list can now have 15 people
  • Watch list can now be ordered by dragging and dropping pilots
  • Chat member list can be made more compact, right click on chat tab and "Show Compact Member List"
  • New icons for online/offline, blocked and voice in member lists
  • The online/offline notification which pops up when your buddy/enemy logs in is now has standings icon
  • Said notificaction can be dragged to chat to info link that pilot and right clicked on
  • You can now shift click modules to overload them
  • Overload button shows feedback from when it's been clicked until it's activated/deactivated
  • You can now filter the skills you see in your character sheet and skill queue to find the skill you want

(Dev blog on all these little things coming soon Blink)

WOW! I am really liking this new CCP. Biggest thing for me may be the compact member list. YAY for making local chat even smaller.

I have one request since you're in the area of the skill queue. Can you try to merge the skill queue page and the skill training page? I always felt having the two sperate was... counter intuitive.

I would perfonally move the bar to the top porition of the window before skills are listed and maybe add a few 'quick' options such as skills to fit in skill queue and skills not yet trained and skills I only know filters.

Maybe a collaspable menu below to show all the skillsin the queue for easier removal and the sort.

Also the bar itself should have similar interation being able to click any higligthed section of the bar should allow same functionality as though you clicked the book in the queue itself.

If this has already been adressed then Ill apologize I am still downloading the patch.

Personally, I like the separate window, so I can have it open while viewing, say, the Jump Clones pane or the Augmentations pane, so that the Pause and Resume functions for Skill Training are right there alongside those functions that require the skill training to be halted.

Now, there is the option of allowing the Pause/Resume functions to be visible on those panes (or above where the panes change)... but, ultimately, I feel these things should require a much greater overhaul of the Character Sheet window than you suggest...

    Awesome job, guys!!

Looks like Team BFF went into triage mode and is providing "hero reps" to the EvE Online UI. Cool

This is a huge boon to all of us dedicated Logi pilots, and everyone else as well. I'm excited to hop on SiSi and check out the new neocom, too.

Also, I second the request to be able to auto-link alliance names just like corps and characters. It's a perfect "little thing" to tackle while you're waist deep in all that coding.

Thanks again for the wave of improvements here, this is the stuff Eve players love to see in their expansions.

I agree, though personally I'm a fan of performance over aesthetics.

I'd rather see an outdated-looking UI that functions smoothly, than a fancy pants one that is less responsive when clicking commands, dragging boxes or menu items, etc.

So yes, we'd love to see some graphical upgrades, but only if thoroughly tested to ensure no responsiveness is lost in the transition. The UI should definitely be something that performs smoothly regardlessly of everyone's machine specs.

I have faith in Team BFF though, they're doing great so far!

Unlike the current S&I dialogs with their annoying little delays? (Such as choosing which research/manuf slot to use, while you wait for that little slide-out filter window to populate.)

You know I think they could have made the watch list better, why make it only 15 people to watch?

Why put a fix number on the watch list - one should add the people he is watching to the list and thats it.

I would also like to see that if you have people in the watchlist - move the one that is getting damage on top and make it red boxed. The same principle as in the voice channel setting where the current people talking is moved to the top.

What you also can do is you can add people to the watch list and when you have someone that is not on the watchlist and he/she is taking damage it gets in to the watchlist automatically

I think there are better ways to manage a watchlist then just to add max 15 people to it

I agree to that that the UI should be good and responsive. But the game is now how old - 7 years ! In that time CCP should have time to see how they could have improved on the UI. At some times my screen is just full of windows with this and that and have only a small part to actually see my ship.

With all teh current overviews and windows it looks like I am playing a browser game then an online space game - I could fill my whole screen with windows on ship info etc etc and fly around and blowing thinsg up and never see the actual ship :-)

Can we please get an export button for the Quickbar in the market order screen?

With the folders it is actually a really nice tool that I have started to use daily however as with 92.521% of the Eve population, I have more then one toon and it is a pain in the backside to hack the settings to transfer to another player.

We just need the same funtionality present in the overview settings to export / import the configurations.
