Had a few of these cases in the uk and all the victims were not charged. This guy went down though.

Try to come in Lithuania, and use your gun as self-defence here. Elder man shot intruder attempting get into his house through window - sentenced. Cops , while having glocks will do everything to avoid shoot at human. Mostly do warning shots in the air, even outnumbered by thugs attempting to round-house kick them in the face (usualy ends shooting half of clip in the air). You can shoot at attacker only when it's direct threat to your life , and for some reason it's very abstract thing.

To be, or not to be, that's the question.

******* crazy. Is this what society has become. Where we all just sit around and say this kind of barbaric behavior is Ok.

Now days it absolutely fine, just go ahead and pull that trigger like you are not talking to someone on the phone. In my day when you were talking to someone you paid attention to them, took the time out of your day.

Now it is all Multitasking. Shooting that guy while talking so she could get back to her "You Tubing" and "Face Booking".

Did she use the 12 gauge? If so she would have to put the phone down as a 12 gauge recoils something terrible and needs both hands. Unless of course she was on speakerphone

I would shoot someone invading my home in the right circumstances.

My home was invaded 9 yrs ago and my mother was held at knife point to her throat, I was asleep in another room. I never heard a thing, the intruder got in through my mom's bedroom door from the backyard deck. The guy got into a nervous wreck and backed out after my mom stood her ground. I woke up after everything when the police officers entered my room loudly with hand guns pointed at me.

I think my case was lucky, had this dude been on alcohol or some crazy drugs things would have been bad, and I might have been dead in my sleep.


but cheers to this mother, I wouldn't take any chances allowing a stranger to break in my home again, ever.

i live in maryland some stupid ruling means you can only shoot an attacker, or invader that is facing you, shoot him in the back and you can be charged.

the laws in almost every country in the world have stupid little issues such as this.

The issue described isn't really a stupid issue, shooting someone in the back indicates they were running away therefore posed no threat. Unless they were a ninja and doing crazy flips while coming at you or something

When was society ever civilized? Any of them? The babarian is dead not the civilized law abiding citizen good for her. I bet you live in a little utopian spot in the world and never worked or had to know a hardship or fight for anything ever. Just handed to you like entitlement merry go round.

No the shooting bugs me. What kind of soulless person can just do that to someone. I blame the culture.

I mean she was to lazy to go visit the police that she just picked up the phone. First Faxes then Pagers and now Cell Phones. Everything is so...

While she was serving her non consensual house guest his drink she could have picked up a butchers knife or something. But instead she was content to pull the trigger from a distance. I know some people do not like this whole touchy feelly culture but a little personal contact would not hurt.
