Definitive Explorations and Excavations is looking for a few good pilots to help expand our new nullsec operation. Recruitment spots will be limited, but our requirements are fairly generous. We're not looking for any particular set of skills; we're more interested in your abilities and attitude as a player than your character's skills or killboard stats.

What we require:

- 5M SP, although frankly we're more interested in the specific skills you have; you must be able to survive and make yourself useful in nullsec. Being able to fly a battlecruiser would be a good start, but if you're a hard-core industrialist who is willing to work out of null, that's cool too.
- Willingness to operate mostly out of nullsec. Most of our highsec operations have closed permanently, and nowadays everybody hangs out in null.
- Active in the Aus or US timezones; we are primarily Aussies / Kiwis, but have a few yanks hanging around
- "Not KOS" status with CVA (see below)
- No alts in KOS corps or alliances (see below)
- Full API key
- No bots.

What we offer:

- Mature, chilled-out atmosphere
- Nullsec access, and all of the rewards that entails (hint: its isk. Lots of it)
- Safe (ish) pipes in and out of null
- Casual, chilled out atmosphere (Real life > EVE)
- Ship reimbursement program
- Free, secure transport of ships and items to and from null if you don't feel like running the pipe
- Free ships for corp ops
- Access to ice fields, if you're into that, and not a bot

About us:

We were once a much larger carebear corp, but as our membership dwindled, a hard core of close-knit grizzled space-adventurers remained, and it made sense to make the move to 0.0 where we could take full advantage of our skills and experience and make some wicked iskies. We have only recently moved to null, and it has become clear we're going to need some more manpower if we want to expand any further. We rat, we mine and we run plexes in and around our new nullsec home.

Our corp is currently without an alliance, but we are in the process of applying to CVA. We currently have access to their intel channel, but not their fleets. Once we are fully established in null they trust us sufficiently, we will be taking part in PVP ops with them.

We are a smallish corp, and are likely to stay that way. We will be recruting based on the principle of quality > quantity; we work pretty well as a small team with the guys we have, and are happy to stay small. We would rather have 20 members we can trust than 200 we barely know. We are recruiting for all timezones, but our "core" is online mainly in the Aus and US timezones around downtime during the week. At the weekends we have been known to show up at all hours. Big smile

About CVA:

CVA is one of the oldest alliances in EVE, at over 7 years old. They hold a considerable amount of sovreignty in the Providence constellation, access to which they share more-or-less freely to anyone who isn't a known hostile. They began life as an Amarrian roleplay alliance and officially they still are; but I've seen little evidence that this is still the case outside of the forums.

CVA space is the closest you'll get to a truly "neutral" area of nullsec; neutrals will be treated with suspicion, but not shot on sight. Friendlies are given access to the CVA intel channel, which is what allows us to do our thing in nullsec without exploding frequently. I haven't lost a single ship in CVA space yet.

So what's this "KOS"?

If you have ever shot a CVA member / ally, or been part of a corp / alliance hostile to CVA then you may already be KOS (kill-on-sight) to us, in which case I'm sorry, but we can't accept you. You can check your KOS status here, but unless you're pretty heavily into piracy you'll probably be fine.

You can contact Macks Artilius or Mister soldier in-game, and we'll have a quick chat and see if D.E.E is going to be right for you.

I'm also required to tell you that a pre-op tranny will be available for new recruits, although I never received mine. Sad
