Selecting and Setting multiple standings

It would be very helpful if someone could point this out to me but from what I've tried finding out there is no way to select multiple individuals and set their standings, sure, you can pick their corp, but what if you don't know them and want to set the rest of the people their neutral and use the standings like freelancer did where it's based on how friendly they act towards you etc.?

I'd really like to be able to shift click a bunch of a players in a channel and set them all to neutral or something like that, or if I want to warn my corp mates about pirate alts. I've spotted in the area I can set them to bad just to let them know, or if I know I'm going to get ganked, quickly get a bunch of players selected and then set them all to bad settings so we know to avoid them in the future.

Just seems a bit daft to me that they have all this coding in place and we can't use it properly!
