Would like to know which can complete lvl 4s better for farming? theoretically speaking with max skilled for either.

A sentry domi or tengu??

This would be in gallente or caldari space, respectively

Which can blitz faster?

First off, Gallente and Caldari space pose almost identical issues in PvE: kin/therm incoming and outgoing with ewar that only drones and FoF missiles can overcome. So no issues swapping between the two either way.

Having said that: Tengu for blitzing hands down. Shield gank sentry (Navy) Dominix can beat Tengu completion times in specific missions because, yes, it pumps out more raw damage and sometimes that's the limiting variable at work. But if there's a gate to travel to, any ship that isn't fixed in place by immobile drones starts to pull ahead -- and in some Serpentis missions the travel distances are absurd (never, ever take a sentry Domi into The Score).

tl;dr: Tengu is faster at blitzing and usually faster completing (total kill) any given Serpentis or Gurista mission. A well-fit Dominix is only competitive when cherry picking and not blitzing, but under the right circumstances its superior raw damage drives down completion times.

I agree the Tengu clears missions quickly unless your vs the Guristas. I did one vs them the other day and was jammed too often. Sometimes by taking a Domi the trick of upsetting the room, getting agro and just allowing the drones to finish the room is quicker.

If you're farming missions in the traditional sense (i.e getting a load of good LVL4's and then clearing them once a day, waiting for DT to re-stock the rats, and then rinse-repeat) then you can just choose to do the ones you know are not racked with EWAR, suit the Tengu and give good bounties. Something like Serpentis Extravaganza would be ideal imo.

Cost wise and avoiding being a gank magnet Domi beats the tengu, otherwise tengu beats about anything for mission grinding.
