I'm installing EVE on my new computer but the stupid installer won't let me.

I've a 4TB software raid volume as my D drive with 3 TB free. I selected a folder on my D drive to install to but the Installer says "insufficient space."

The free space readout says -800 GB (negative 800 gigs).

Any ideas?

I recall reading that if you use the repair tool to "repair" an empty folder, that would do the trick. The actual client installer is unaware of 2TB+ drives.

Thanks, this did the trick.

It's sad CCP can't get such a simple function to work correctly.

Indeed it is sad. The other option was to grab the fallback payloads, and use 7-Zip to unzip them to a location of your choice Smile
