Quite a few "PI sucks now" tears on the forums lately...which is incredibly short sighted.

What did you think was going to happen? PI was initially a system where no real PVP (econ or combat) could occur, and that is fundamentally against the design philosophy of Eve Online. What do you think is going to happen to your precious lowsec PI "empire" when DUST finally happens? Think you can protect anything static without a fully functioning and active corp or alliance? Think again. Entering lowsec in a Blockade Runner to farm PI materials in the old invulnerable POCO system was not you taking "risk", it was you taking advantage of an incomplete game design system.

So quit the whining or just QQ already.

Sort of how when EVE Online started and there was mining in it. Which is a very nasty form of PVP?

All that's different with my setup is that taxes have gone up. I still take a bog-standard industrial into lowsec to pick it up and shuffle things. I still don't get shot at.

I have no CLUE where you guys are getting this idea. I hear it all the time............

CCP does not have a design goal with that as a schema. The players bring the PvP to what's out there.

I haven't seen a thread about the PI changes in weeks. You bored OP? Need to open some old wounds? Can't find anything more current to troll about? If you were trying to be original, remember the game is 8 years old. That's not going to be easy. Devs can't do it and they get paid to.

Actually he was referring to a thread I started today QUERYING why PI in lowsec has been "Interbussed".

I ASKED whether it's a DUST 514 preparation.

I ASKED if it's putting more cookies into large alliance wallets.

I ASKED other lowsec PI'ers what their opinions were.

I DON'T recall whining but hey, if that's his lot then so be it.

MAYBE he SHOULD have ASKED if I was WHINING or COMMENTING.

The DIFFERENCE requires a little intellect. OP FAILED.

I lolled soooo hard.

Eve's "design philosophy" is "build it and they will come". It's called a SANDBOX. PvP happens as a RESULT of the sandbox just as "building precious PI empires" is ALSO a result in that very same sandbox.

More importantly, what people DO in that sandbox is ALWAYS open for critique and improvement and CCP frequently make changes based on "heaps of people whining". Numbers will ALWAYS win.

You have added little more than a personal ***** session about bitchin' and for mine, you do the topic a FAVOUR by bringing the anghst to the fore. Well done.

But really. What's at stake for Eve? If low-seccers pull the pin on PI then there is even LESS reason for lowsec to exist and even LESS to shoot at when DUST 514 arrives. Think about it.

I did see a missionrunner whine about the mission window moving, so I guess you have a point there about Bot makers. And I was thinking more of the Isk sellers, who accept their bans quietly as a cost of doing business.
