i'd like the addition of markers that i can drag onto the graph for points that merit closer evaluation for transits, so that i can scroll along the time axis and put markers at all candidates that i see, and then zoom back out and see if there's a likely pattern.

these markers should not have any additional effect - though if you want to collect them as "raw data" as well, it might net some additional useful information?

it would also be nice to have multiple shapes/colors available, placing them with a control+lmb and removing a marker with alt+lmb
