Explosion sound - smartbomb?

After patch explosions sound like smarbombs farting. is it just me or CCP did it again and with new patch managed to brake something else?

I noticed the explosion sounds on the test server and was hoping it was just a bug. Apparently not. While it's good to give different size ships different explosion sounds, this particular sound effect is just annoying. It gets especially annoying when you are in a fleet with dozens of frigates constantly dying all around you. We even had one guy freaking out thinking someone was broadcasting annoying sounds over TS ^^.
