Option to turn off 'yellowing' of the gate in Overview with route set

Why would a streamer not be blocking out chat, overview, and system info? Heck, even modules?

Cause it would be a bad stream, to block everything you would need to protect you, mayas welll stream a blank screen :-)

If that is the case then changing the gate highlight won't change anything. There is just too much information on the screen. Getting stream sniped just comes with the territory. They should get thicker skin or hang up the camera and mic.

Sigh, is that the default ignorant attitude to EVERYTHING. Just asking for an option, how does this annoy you so much to be an ass? Might I suggest you possibly comment on what you have a clue about maybe?

EDIT by adding this would be possible to fake warp, would be very helpful with 10 sec natural delay.

If you want people to watch you play live, and you show them the pertinent details, expect them to take advantage of it.

You should absolutely be blocking out chat, overview and system info. Even then, all they need to do is zkill the player they're watching you kill to get a real good idea of where you are. The noose will tighten one way or another.

Thanks for the preach, I know and I am not moaning about sniping, also will show whatever io want when i stream, its my stream. All i asked for is the ability to turn of the yellow next gate...THAT IS IT.

Talk about going off on a tangent.

Okay, option two then. Quick and easy. Don't set a destination. Keep dotlan open on a separate window with your route there.

How exactly would it make your life easier?

Do you autopilot while you stream?

Ingame guidance routing without the highlighted gate is of questionable value; it doesn't show you anything that dotlan wouldn't show you in better fashion. Just the route would be useless as you'd have to mouse-over the route to see where your next hop is, and that's where the snipers would track you.

To hell with any thing else, with all the problems we have in the game, add in all the unfinished projects they need to finish and I only have one questions.

Why in hell should they waste dev time making a change that only affects you and the few others that live stream your EvE exploits?

Sounds rather counter productive to me. If streamers are looking for fights, then why make it harder to get one? Well, at least they should be because that's what live streaming your EVE client will get you, like it or not.
