I have been out of the game for the last 6 to 7 years. really... not even sure about that. the last update that looks familiar is Incursion for 2010. I had a jump freighter account at one point and was in a carrier when I just stop paying for my account. I lived in Null space, but was not a very active PvPer. I would jump in for a moderate size battle, but that was about it.

I last logged off in Null space at a random POS not planning on a long absence. So, I will have a fast learning curve when I log in.

Could someone give me a quick summary of the changes since 2010?

Quick update?

Combat recons don't show up on D-scan.

No more clone types....you have Alphas's (limited to 5 mill SP and play for free) and Omega's (subscribers, what you are used to, no skill limit).

A lot of the ships have been rebalanced. Check all of your fits.

No racial mining ships anymore. See the ORE section of the ship tree.

No more offgrid boosting. Check out Command Bursts.

ECM has changed drastically.

Lot more pirate boats. They are vicious. Especially Blood Raiders.

Freighters have low slots now, and can drop and pick up stuff in space.

Haulers in general are much different.

And capitals have changed.....a lot. See Jump Fatigue.

PS

Smaller ships warp faster than bigger ships, for the most part.

Everything in EVE is a trap.

And if it isn't, it's your job to make it a trap...:)
